SDC Launches Colchester’s First Data Centre

SDC Hosting and Support has completed the design and build of a purpose-built data centre, the first of its kind in the Colchester area, following a six-figure investment.

The data centre, which is located on the Colchester Business Park in North Colchester, comes as demand rises for highly secure, efficient, and accessible infrastructure environments. As some businesses look to downsize their premises in the wake of COVID-19, a data centre offers an off-site IT solution which frees up storage room used for servers and offers a secure, managed, GDPR-compliant solution.

Commenting on the completion of the project, Adrian Morris, SDC Hosting and Support co-owner and technical director, said:
